• Account data (name, email address) processed through our authentication provider, Clerk
• Billing data (subscription status, payment method details) processed by our payment provider, Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers
• Technical logs (IP address, device and browser metadata, request timestamps) for security and reliability

Chart annotations you draw in the terminal (lines, boxes, levels) are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers. The market data displayed in the product is not personal data.

3. How we use data

• Provide and improve the FlowState Charts service
• Authenticate users and manage accounts
• Process subscription payments and prevent abuse
• Communicate about product updates and support

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Service providers

We share data with a small number of providers that help us operate the product, each processing only what their function requires:

• Vercel — website and application hosting
• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
• Supabase — database hosting

Some of these providers process data outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA (notably in the United States); transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Cookies

We use only cookies that are necessary to operate the service: authentication session cookies (Clerk) and functional preferences such as your sidebar and theme settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive data, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please contact us if you have concerns.

7. Retention

We retain account data while your account exists, and for a limited period after deletion as needed for backups, legal obligations (such as bookkeeping records for payments), or dispute resolution.

8. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact hello@flowstate-charts.io to make a request. You can also delete your account directly in the product.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
